Business buildings, government organisations, data centres, and hospitals are among the places that might profit from the installation of a bus shelter. Bus shelters protect people waiting for transit from the elements and increase the overall efficiency of your public transportation system. We’ve compiled a list of ways bus shelters may help your public transit system run more smoothly and efficiently.
Passengers can find important information
Bus shelters are great sites for passengers to study information on bus timetables, find delays, and see other routes before boarding. This reduces the number of passengers who slow down bus drivers by inquiring about bus schedules or determining their right stop, as well as the time it takes for your transportation information services to respond to enquiries.
Easily identifiable
A solitary bus stop sign may be difficult to spot from a distance for passengers who do not know its exact location. Adding a bright-coloured bus shelter to each stop will increase visibility and make it easier for passengers to find.
Encourage people to take public transport
Passengers will be far less likely to travel if they have to wait outside in the wind and rain to board a bus. Adding a bus shelter to protect passengers from the rough weather will encourage them to use bus services in all weather situations and throughout the year. Ensure a consistent revenue stream.
Let’s take a look at some of our most popular bus shelters…
The BDS Bus Stop
The BDS Bus Shelter will be on concrete, tarmac, paving slabs, or block surfaces. Benches are available upon request (we will gladly accommodate any requests). The polycarbonate glazing strap may be used to tidy up the area where the polycarbonate panels meet at the back of your installation. Steel is used to construct the frame. However, you can powder coat the colour, galvanise it, or have both for better corrosion protection.
For maximum comfort, complete surround seating (4 benches) is available. However, basic perch seating is more common.
Kent Anti-Vandal Bus Shelter
The Kent Anti-Vandal Bus Shelter is a robust and durable anti-vandal bus shelter that requires little maintenance. It measures 2500mm long, 1300mm broad, and 2300mm tall. Additional sizes can be ordered upon request. Steel profile frame, 50mm x 50mm, galvanised or powder coated colour treatment, or both, is available.

The Bespoke Timber Bus Shelter was one of our earliest wooden bus shelters. It is both simple and durable.
